“SANDAG is ready to hit the ground running in 2022,” said SANDAG CEO Hasan Ikhrata. “We are working hard to deliver a transformational transportation future for the San Diego region and look forward to partnering with the community every step of the way.”

As a regional leader, SANDAG is connecting people and resources in the San Diego region through data-driven planning, building, and funding.

“The good news is that everything we are doing is directly in line with the latest state and federal funding proposals,” said Ikhrata. “We are leading the way here in the San Diego region and have many milestones to look forward to this year. I am proud of what we have been able to accomplish and even more excited for what’s to come.”
