Executive Committee

The Executive Committee advises the Board on meeting its fiduciary and strategic governance responsibilities and provides governance-level oversight and advice to executive management on issues such as risk management, strategic planning, organizational health, corrective action plans, budget and funding strategies, and direct service operations.

The Executive Committee meetings are generally held at 9 a.m. on the first Friday of the month for approximately three hours.

The Executive Committee is composed of six voting members that represent East County, North County Coastal, North County Inland, South County, the City of San Diego, and the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. The SANDAG Chair is one of the six voting members. The SANDAG Vice Chair is also on the committee if they represent a different region than the Chair.
