In preparation for the start of construction of the Imperial Avenue Bikeway project, SANDAG will host a virtual construction information session via Zoom on March 27 at 6 p.m. Join us for this meeting to learn more about what to expect during construction. Spanish interpretation will be available.
About the Project:
The Imperial Avenue Bikeway is a 3.5-mile bikeway that will help create safer streets for people who live in or travel through Southeastern San Diego. Once complete, the bikeway will provide important connections to the region’s bike network. The bikeway will also improve access to local shops and markets along Imperial Avenue while maintaining the community character of these historic neighborhoods. The project is expected to break ground in Spring 2024 and will take an estimated 2 years to complete.
