Interstate 15 (I-15) is a north-south travel corridor that starts in the City of San Diego and extends all the way to the U.S.-Canada border. It connects major employment and residential hubs such as Mira Mesa, Poway, Rancho Peñasquitos, and Escondido, and it links San Diego County to Riverside and Las Vegas. It features a reversible express lane system designed to reduce traffic congestion by accommodating carpools, vanpools, motorcycles, public transit, and solo drivers.
