PUBLIC NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE DRAFT SAN DIEGO FORWARD: THE 2019 FEDERAL REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION PLAN, THE DRAFT AIR QUALITY CONFORMITY ANALYSIS, AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

Notice is hereby given that the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) will release the draft 2019 Federal Regional Transportation Plan (2019 Federal RTP) for public distribution on October 4, 2019, and set the closing date for public comments on the draft 2019 Federal RTP to October 22, 2019. 

The 2019 Federal RTP will look to carry forward the projects, programs, and policies included in the 2015 Regional Plan, while development of the 2021 Regional Plan continues. The 2019 Federal RTP will use the latest modeling tools and Regional Growth Forecast as well as updated costs and revenue assumptions and will meet all federal RTP requirements. The 2019 Federal RTP also includes the draft Air Quality Conformity Determination demonstrating the 2019 Federal RTP’s conformity with the State Implementation Plans for air quality, in accordance with the Transportation Conformity Requirements in 40 C.F.R. 51 and 93, as required by the 1990 Clean Air Act Amendments.

SANDAG has scheduled an open house for the draft 2019 Federal RTP to accept additional public comment. The open house is scheduled for October 15, 2019, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the SANDAG Vision Lab located in SANDAG offices at 401 B Street, Suite 2060, San Diego CA, 92101. Spanish-speaking staff members will be available. The location is transit accessible, family members of all ages are welcome, and light refreshments will be available. During the open house, participants will be afforded a variety of means to submit comments on the draft 2019 Federal RTP, including filling out comment cards.

ANUNCIO PÚBLICO DE DISPONIBILIDAD DEL BORRADOR DE SAN DIEGO FORWARD: EL PLAN REGIONAL DE TRANSPORTE FEDERAL 2019, EL BORRADOR DEL ANÁLISIS DE CONFORMIDAD DE CALIDAD DEL AIRE Y ANUNCIO DE REUNIONES PÚBLICAS

Por medio de la presente se notifica que la Asociación de Gobiernos de San Diego (SANDAG, por sus siglas en inglés) publicará el borrador del Plan Regional de Transporte Federal 2019 (RTP Federal 2019) para distribución pública el 4 de octubre de 2019 y que ha designado el 22 de octubre de 2019 como la fecha límite para hacer comentarios públicos sobre el borrador del RTP Federal 2019.  

El RTP Federal 2019 espera sacar adelante los proyectos, programas y políticas incluidas en el Plan Regional 2015 mientras continúa el desarrollo del Plan Regional 2021. El RTP Federal 2019 usará las herramientas de modelización más modernas y el Pronóstico del Crecimiento Regional, así como los pronósticos actualizados de gastos e ingresos y cumplirá con todos los requisitos federales para el RTP. El RTP Federal 2019 también incluye una Determinación de Conformidad de Calidad del Aire que demuestra la conformidad del RTP Federal 2019 con los Planes de Implementación del Estado para la calidad del aire, según los Requisitos de Conformidad del Transporte establecidos en el Código de Reglamentos Federales, Título 40 (40 C.F.R.), partes 51 y 93, tal como requieren las Enmiendas a la Ley de Aire Limpio de 1990.
