12.30.2020 | Public Notice
There will be three public meetings virtually on GoTo Webinar to gather input on proposed transit fare changes affecting Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and North County Transit District (NCTD) riders. Any approved changes to the Regional Comprehensive Fare Ordinance would become effective no sooner than May 1, 2021. If approved, these changes would take effect when the Compass Card system is replaced by the new regional PRONTO fare system in mid-2021. Participants can ask questions and write or record comments. After public input is received, a final recommendation will be considered by the SANDAG, MTS, and NCTD boards of directors.
Public Information and Input Meetings
Due to Covid-19 safety precautions, these meetings will be held virtually, with the public able to listen and provide input by computer or telephone. See below for information on how to participate.
