The SR 125 Toll Road northbound on-ramp at Birch Road and the southbound off-ramp at Exit 7/Otay Lakes Road are closed from January 17 through 19 as crews install new tolling equipment. Drivers should plan accordingly and take alternate exits. 

Installing new tolling equipment is one of the steps SANDAG is taking to enhance technology along the SR 125 Toll Road and I-15 Express Lanes. Closing lanes and diverting traffic allows crews to safely complete work throughout the length of the project. 

SANDAG began upgrading tolling equipment on SR 125 in late 2021 and anticipates completion by the end of 2023. New roadway equipment was previously installed on the I-15 Express Lanes in 2019 and 2020.
