It’s time to celebrate! Join us for a ceremonial group bike ride on the new section of the Inland Rail Trail. This 2-mile ride will start at the Mar Vista Drive and Phillips Street entrance of the Inland Rail Trail in Vista and will make a stop at our ribbon cutting and press conference to celebrate the new section of the trail before continuing to the City of Vista’s Cyclovia event. Please note this is a one-way ride, and we will not be returning to the start as a group.
This ride is family friendly, designed for people of all ages and abilities, and led by certified instructors from the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition. Please bring your own bike and helmet.
Event details:
- 8:30 a.m.: Meet at the entrance to the Inland Rail Trail at Mar Vista Drive and Phillips Street.
- 9-9:30 a.m.: Stop at the Civic Center – Vista Station for the Inland Rail Trail Phase 3 ribbon cutting and press conference (810 Phillips Street, Vista, CA 92083).
- 10 a.m.: End at Cyclovia Vista (East Broadway, Vista, CA 92083).
