Listening Session for SANDAG Federal Certification Review

A Public Listening Session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to receive input on how to improve the San Diego metropolitan region’s transportation planning process. Participants are invited to attend the listening session in person or via Zoom or telephone.

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) will conduct the 2024 San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) certification review to evaluate the regional transportation planning process carried out by SANDAG and its partners. Every four years the FHWA and the FTA jointly complete this type of review and we invite the public to share comments with us either in person or by virtual connection as follows:

Oral and written comments may be presented either in person at SANDAG or through the Zoom meeting platform. This meeting will be conducted in English, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided in Spanish. Requests must be made at least 72 hours in advance of the public listening session by calling 619.849.8820 if oral or written comments are wished to be presented in additional languages. Written comments also can be accepted through Friday, May 31, 2024, by email sent to cert.review@dot.gov.
