TransNet: The first 20 years (1988 - 2008)
Since 1988, TransNet has been instrumental in expanding the region's transportation system, reducing traffic congestion, and bringing critical transit projects to life.

Crime down in San Diego, but robbery continues to increase
The SANDAG Criminal Justice Research Division recently released its Annual Crime Bulletin for the San Diego region.

Western Salt Works site assessment and vision plan
The SANDAG Service Bureau was retained by the California Coastal Conservancy to prepare an access study and vision plan of the area of south San Diego Bay near the mouth of the Otay River.

Input requested on proposed Fare Ordinance amendments
Public hearings will be held on Friday, May 30 and Friday, June 6 by the SANDAG Transportation Committee to receive comments on proposals to amend the existing transit fare structure for North County Transit District and Metropolitan Transit System services.

$400 million approved for regional goods movement improvements
The California Transportation Commission recently approved the allocation of $400 million to the San Diego region to improve key goods movement infrastructure, including highways, maritime facilities, rail lines, and border crossings.
