The Coordinated Public Transit - Human Services Transportation Plan (Coordinated Plan) includes the components of the Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) and meets the federal requirement to develop a plan which incorporates the human service/social service network of transportation services.
In its capacity as the SRTP, the Coordinated Plan provides a framework for transit system development over the next five years and reflects the goals and direction for service development as described in the Regional Transportation Plan. The Appendix to the Coordinated Plan includes public outreach documentation, service inventory, and supporting data, including annual operating data and maps used to perform various analyses.
Grant Application Procedures
SANDAG is currently soliciting proposals for the federal Job Access and Reverse Commute (JARC) funding program. JARC is a grant program which funds operating, capital, and mobility management projects providing transportation services for reverse commuters and low income individuals to job and employment-related activities.
