Removal and Re-installation Request for Call Boxes in San Diego County In accordance with the Motorist Aid Statewide Guidelines, Caltrans shall notify SANDAG at least 30 days in advance of the performance of any work that will require the temporary or permanent removal, removal from service, or relocation of any call boxes. Caltrans shall also notify SANDAG at least 30 days in advance of the completion of any work that required the temporary removal, removal from service, or relocation of call boxes. If you are performing construction on San Diego County highways that may impact a call box, please submit a removal/re-installation request below.
