Bicycles and Pedestrians

Facilities for non-motorized transportation include sidewalks and bicycle facilities. It is estimated that there are currently about 510,000 bike trips per day in the San Diego region. Recently, bicycle facilities in the region have been increased, but more remains to be done. Development of pedestrian-friendly streets and neighborhoods is a priority.
