Notice of Availability for Review and Comment - Draft EIR for San Diego Forward: The Regional Plan

SANDAG, as lead agency under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), has prepared a Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for San Diego Forward: The Regional Plan (Plan).

The Draft EIR found that the proposed Regional Plan would result in significant, unavoidable impacts, both direct and cumulative, to: Aesthetics and Visual Resources; Agricultural and Forestry Resources; Air Quality; Biological Resources; Cultural and Paleontological Resources; Energy; Geology, Soils, and Mineral Resources; Greenhouse Gas Emissions; Hazards and Hazardous Materials; Land Use; Noise and Vibration; Population and Housing; Public Services and Utilities; Transportation; and Water Supply. The proposed Regional Plan would result in less than significant impacts to Hydrology and Water Quality.

In accordance CEQA, this public notice officially notifies the general public, public agencies, and interested individuals and organizations that a 55-day public review period will begin on May 21, 2015. Written comments regarding the adequacy of this draft EIR must be received by July 15, 2015.
