Each year, COBRO organizes the SANDAG Annual Binational Summer Conference held in July. This year, the conference is scheduled for Friday, July 16, 2004 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The focus is Cooperation across the California-Baja California Border: Where do we go from here? The conference is free and open to the public and participants from both sides of the U.S.-Mexico Border are encouraged to participate. Please register online for this year's conference.
The subsequent five summer conferences have dealt with the following binational issues: education and the economy; energy, transportation and trade infrastructure; communications; ports of entry infrastructure; and border financing mechanisms.
These conferences have brought together speakers and hundreds of participants from both sides of the border to discuss these topics of binational interest.
