Time: 12:30 p.m. The Energy Working Group is hosting an educational workshop on local distributed energy solutions. The workshop will provide an overview of state and local policies promoting distributed generation, discuss current legislative and regulatory climate and identify obstacles to successful deployment locally. Registration begins at 12 noon followed by a Welcome and Introductions, Case Studies Distributed Generation (DG) - Successes and Failures in the Region, Current Regulatory/Legistive Barriers and Solutions for the Future, National Gas Update/Forecast - How do Natural Gas Prices Affect DG Deployment, and New Technologies in DG. This workshop is free and open to the public. |
