Regional Models Analyst

Two Regional Models Analyst positions are available. One position will provide ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and production of the SANDAG sub-regional demographic and economic forecasts, and the other position will assist with the development of a new regionwide integrated demographic-economic forecasting model. These positions will provide advanced analytical guidance for land use planning and implementation projects including the integration between the SANDAG suite of land use and transportation models, assisting in testing the reliability and credibility of the models, and supporting the evolution of the agency’s GIS land information system.  More...

Senior Regional Models Analyst

The Senior Regional Models Analyst will provide complex analytical support for regional economic and land use planning and implementation projects; manage project teams; and coordinate modeling functions with other divisions and departments, committees, and outside agencies. Transit Planner

As a member of the eleven-person Transit Planning team, the Transit Planner will coordinate and participate in projects and programs that further the development of public transit and social service agency transportation in the San Diego region. Responsibilities include coordinating short-range planning activities for fixed rail/bus and social services, administering local and federal grant programs, providing technical guidance related to fare and service policies, providing project management support for rail and bus planning studies, and providing professional staff assistance to higher level management. More...
