47th St. Trolley Station Area Planning WG

Date: 3/5/12 - 3/5/12

A Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service is planned for San Diego along the Interstate 805 corridor as part of the TransNet program.  The BRT will connect the Otay Mesa Port of Entry to Kearny Mesa, Sorrento Mesa, UCSD and UTC, providing access to employment and activity centers in a rapid and reliable manner.  San Diego City Council President Tony Young and members of the Southeastern San Diego community have expressed an interest in having the South Bay BRT service the 47th Street Trolley Station. This is the first in a series of monthly working group meetings to discuss the proposed project on March 5, from 6-8 p.m., at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center. Residents, business owners and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

PLEASE JOIN US ON MONDAY, MARCH 5, 2012
