New MTS Route 830 gives commuters those benefits.” Route 830's three morning departures offer easy connections for commuters transferring from the San Diego Trolley, other bus routes serving downtown as well as the I-15 Transit Plazas at University Avenue and El Cajon Boulevard.
Route 830 is a demonstration project made possible through grants from the San Diego Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) plus the creative use of existing resources.
