2006 average daily trafficADTV
volumes released

Each year, local jurisdictions and Caltrans collect traffic count data on significant roadways, state freeways, and highways. SANDAG compiles this information to present Average Weekday Traffic Counts, which are two-way, 24-hour daily volumes shown in thousands of vehicles.

The PDF files below show roadway descriptions and five-year (2002 – 2006) volumes presented alphabetically by jurisdiction. The percent change in volumes between 2005 and 2006 also is shown.

PLEASE NOTE : If counts were not made in a particular year, the previous year’s count will be shown along with an N. An E will appear by the volume if the traffic count was estimated. A V indicates that the street did not permit through traffic for that year.

More current counts may be available by contacting each jurisdiction's Public Works Department.

This information also is available at www.sandag.org/adtv.
