511 traffic info a hit for San Diego commuters
Usage of 511 continues to climb since its public launch on February 21, 2007, as users obtain up-to-the-minute freeway driving times, transit route and rideshare information, roadside assistance, and much more.

Progress continues on SR 52
Efforts are underway to widen and extend SR 52 as part of the TransNet Early Action Program to provide drivers with a smoother trip in and out of Santee.

Law enforcement officers place themselves in harm’s way each day as they uphold their mission to protect the public. Information regarding the circumstances under which they are assaulted in the line of duty is compiled at the national level and provided to states and jurisdictions.

The SANDAG Speakers Bureau is a public service to keep the region updated on the variety of programs and projects the agency is implementing.

On April 11, 2007, the SANDAG RideLink program will honor organizations and individuals for their outstanding contributions to reducing traffic congestion in the San Diego region at the fourth annual Diamond Awards.
