Transportation progress continues around the region
Each quarter, SANDAG provides a transportation progress report to its Board of Directors and constituents to keep them apprised of the multitude of dynamic projects underway in the San Diego region.

SANDAG is making headlines
As a major newsmaker in the San Diego region, SANDAG programs, projects, and perspectives are consistently featured in local, national, and even international media.

NCTD SPRINTER on schedule for 2007
In June, the NCTD Board of Directors approved a proposed budget amendment of $55 million to complete the SPRINTER, bringing the total project budget to $440 million.

New maps provide unique look at region
SANDAG has provided two new ways to view the San Diego region with the addition of a ZIP Code map and a transit ridership map to its popular collection of printed maps.

Youth perceptions vary on harmful effects of drug use
Interviews with juveniles booked in San Diego County Juvenile Hall shed light on the differences in perception of harm caused by alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs (ATOD) between those youth who have used drugs and those who have not.

MTS partners with Coca-Cola to present local scholarships
The Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), in partnership with the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Southern California and the San Diego County Office of Education, announced this year’s scholarship winners among San Diego County graduating high school seniors.
