Monitoring report tracks region's progress
The Regional Comprehensive Plan 2008 Annual Performance Monitoring Report tracks progress toward implementing the Regional Comprehensive Plan, a long-term planning framework for San Diego County that defines a vision and lays out goals, key issues, and needed actions.
Underage drinking and driving: A local and national concern
While drunk driving among any age group remains a concern for communities across the county, this behavior among youth (under 21) is of special concern because traffic fatalities are the number one cause of death for teens.
New bicycle commuter benefit available
As of January 1, employers have a new mechanism to support bicycle commuting by their employees.
SANDAG invites nominations for 2009 Diamond Awards
The SANDAG RideLink program is inviting nominations for its annual Diamond Awards honoring San Diego County businesses that go the extra mile to help reduce traffic congestion.
December Board of Directors meeting actions available online
The next SANDAG Board of Directors business meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 27, 2009, at 9 a.m. Members of the public not in attendance may listen live to this meeting by accessing the "Listen Live" link from the SANDAG Web site home page approximately 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
