Fare Facts: Did you know that as of January 1, 2008, the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) no longer issues or accepts transfers on buses or Trolleys? And that riders instead are being encouraged to purchase a $5 Regional Day Pass if their one-day travel involves several buses and/or the Trolley? Or are you interested in riding the SPRINTER but need to know the cost of a monthly pass? These facts and more can be found in 2008 Fare Facts, a guide to regional transit fares. Updated to include new service and fare information for 2008, Fare Facts is provided free as a helpful guide to fare information for the region’s transit services. Fare Facts also lists the different passes available to MTS and North County Transit District (NCTD) passengers, explains where tickets and passes can be purchased, and what fare promotions are available, among other things! The 2008 Fare Facts can be found at transit centers around the region.
