RideLink would like to announce the fourth annual Diamond Awards which honor organizations and individuals for their outstanding contributions to reducing traffic congestion in the San Diego region. Winners will be invited to a celebration event in February 2006. Nominations are open to businesses, organizations, and individuals that have made a significant contribution to reducing traffic congestion in the past year — helping the San Diego region to “Survive the Drive!”
To qualify as a candidate for a Diamond Award, a company or individual must promote vanpooling, carpooling, or the use of transit; support flexible work hours or teleworking; promote bicycling and walking to work; and/or offer subsidies or incentives for any of these activities.
