The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is seeking public volunteers to assist in updating its Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and implementing its Regional Comprehensive Plan (RCP). Both plans will help shape the region’s traffic and building future.
Membership in this “Regional Planning Stakeholders Working Group” is based on a combination of skills, experience, geographic representation, and interests.

The RTP, also referred to as “MOBILITY 2030,” was developed to meet the region's long-term mobility needs, to better connect transportation and land use policy decisions, and to create a transportation network that will serve the people of this region well into the 21st century.
The RCP is the strategic planning blueprint for the
region. It provides a broad context in which local and regional decisions can be made that foster a healthy environment, a vibrant economy, and a high quality of life for all residents. The plan balances regional population, housing, and employment growth with habitat preservation, agriculture, open space, and infrastructure needs.
