SANDAG newsletter provides access to regional information
As a public service, SANDAG distributes rEgion, a free, monthly newsletter. To subscribe to rEgion, visit SANDAG's Home page at www.sandag.org and enter a valid e-mail address in the box at the bottom left corner of the page. Each month, you will receive information to keep you updated on important projects and services underway and planned in the San Diego region. It's a great way to stay in the loop!

Connect to the new 511 traffic service
Usage of 511 continues to climb since its public launch on February 21, 2007, as users obtain up-to-the-minute freeway driving times, transit route and rideshare information, roadside assistance, and much more.

New minimum FasTrak toll starts May 1
On March 23, 2007, SANDAG approved the new I-15 FasTrak pricing program to curb the increasing cost of account maintenance for non-users of the system.

I-5/805 bypass lane at Merge now open
Southbound bypass lanes and new Carmel Mountain Road on and off ramps opened to traffic April 3, signaling the completion of the $176 million project five months ahead of schedule.
